Brownie Recipes

No need to use a mix when you can make these delicious, light, chewy brownies just about as fast. They are delicious served warm or at room temperature. Cocoa packs a lot of chocolate flavor, but has less fat than solid chocolate. For a fancier dessert, serve with warm caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream.

These are a nice change from pure chocolate brownies, but are just as easy to make. The marbling dresses them up; the cream cheese gives them richness. Bake these when you are expecting a crowd, and serve them with ice cream or fruit.

The best part about preparing these brownies is that you mix everything right in the top pan of a double boiler.

To cut the fat and boost the flavor, I substitute a banana for butter in these moist, sweet brownies.

The original recipe calls for unsweetened and bittersweet chocolates, but i've put my personal spin on it because i'm a huge fan of white chocolate.

You may use your favorite brownie recipe, one that makes a 9x13 pan full, in place of the brownie mix if you wish. Adjust baking time slightly, about 5 or 20 minutes longer than normal.
